Came in right after being refereed I loved having multiple people working on my hair at points. loved everyone giving advice on what’s the best way to tackle my problem. Ultimately decided to leave it up to the hair stylist to do what they think was best and was NOTTTT disappointed. Absolutely in love with my hair and the atmosphere of SAC. Very warm, welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be coming back and referring everyone I know.

I have terrible anxiety about being in a salon after an awful experience at another location that left me not getting a proper haircut for over 2 years. I came in with knotted, dry hair far down my back, an anxious mess, unsure of what to do with my hair. Jonique immediately put me at ease, explained all the steps without me asking, and restored my faith in hair stylists. Losing 6-9 inches in some areas due to layering was a huge change but Jonique made me feel confident and prepared. This was my second time at the salon, but first hair appointment. My first experience was back in June, when I got a blowout for my best friends wedding. I was booked with Stefanie and she did a great job. Today I got a colour and cut and was booked with Stefanie again. She’s amazing, listened to what I had to say and even went over the price with me. I’ve paid overprice at other salons for the past couple years so it was so nice to experience this. I’m absolutely IN LOVE with my hair and am happy to have found my new salon. My make up application/lesson with Chelsea was great! She took the time to understand what I liked and how to highlight my best features. She explained everything she was doing and had me try along with her. I felt a little pampered…highly recommended:)

I showed up last minute because my hair needed to be saved from a previous bad haircut. My bangs were messed up and Astrid did an amazing job at fixing them. She was very friendly and made my hair look much better. I’m very happy, thank you! ❤️

I just took a shower so I can not provide a selfie haha but I think, hands down, this was my favourite haircut. The stylist new exactly what she was doing, was comfortable and confident in making executive decisions about the cut cuz I had a vague idea of what I wanted, and she was super kind and easy to talk to through out the whole appointment. She also taught me how to style the haircut when I’m on my own, something I’m not used to doing, and I did accomplish a solid look all day after doing it myself which I received compliments on a lot. 100% would recommend Salon at Church and the ONLY reason I wouldn’t recommend that stylist is because I don’t want her appointment slots to fill up… but I’m not as asshole, so I’ll yell her name to the world!

I am beyond happy with my experience. Michelle did an amazing job on my hair. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The salon is beautiful and clean. I called to book an appointment and was scheduled in within a few days, which is nice to not have to wait weeks. She took the time to do a thorough consultation, and was upfront with what we could realistically achieve in one appointment with my current hair condition. We talked about estimated price and my budget on the phone, and again and during my appointment so there were no surprises. The final cost was within the discussed price range. I think it was comparable to other similar stylists and salons, but I don’t have much experience getting my hair done. I asked for a bright but natural, multidimensional, low maintenance blonde balayage to compliment my natural blonde hair. It turned out better than I imagined! I am beyond happy with the results and will definitely be going back to Michelle for touch ups. Thank-you so much!

This was my 1st time at Salon@church and I saw Michelle. The atmosphere was warm and inviting as was Michelle. She took the time to listen to my issues with my hair and we discussed different ways I could get it cut. Ultimately, we decided on a bob that had lots of volume at the top and soft layers around. I love it!!!! My daughter said it was the best cut she\'d seen on me. The shine in my hair was also increased with the products used and of course, the cut. I will definitely be back to see Michelle. Everything I\'d read and heard about the salon was true. It\'s a beautiful space, knowledgeable staff and welcoming atmosphere. A great addition to the Welland area!

I had an great stylist/colourist for quite a few years. Unfortunately, she’s no longer in the business. I searched for a salon near me with 5 stars and came upon Salon@Church, which is about 10 minutes from me. The pictures on the website features the inside of the salon and it’s beautiful. I also loved the fact that the owner/stylists/colourist pictures with the ladies background etc. is also featured on the website plus reviews which I thoroughly read which helped me decide on this Salon. I left a message mentioning I needed a cut/colour. I was contacted very quickly and set up an appointment. Tara was recommended to me. I met Tara and she made me feel so welcome. I spoke with her about what I wanted regarding my cut/colour and listened to her suggestions. I asked her to cut about 1/2 inch for now since it’s my first visit. Once finished I was so happy with my colour/cut from Tara. She’s so sweet, professional, excellent colourist/stylist. I now have a great new Salon to go to and a great stylist/colourist in Tara. I made my next appointment the same day. Highly recommended Tara and Salon@Church!!!!!!
